Piroska Kordás has worked as a registered auditor in Grant Thornton’s audit group in Hungary since 2002.
She has extensive knowledge of both Hungarian GAAP and International GAAP, and she has outstanding experience in the audit of not only banks and other financial institutions, but also companies in the sectors of manufacturing and processing industries, as well as construction. Piroska has more than 20 years of experience in auditing large and medium-sized Hungarian and multinational companies according to according to the Hungarian Accounting Standards and the IFRS.
She graduated from the Budapest Business School, and has been a member of the Hungarian Auditing Chamber since 1999. She has completed a variety of courses for auditors organized by the Chamber, including trainings on IFRS and on HGB. She has been a certified auditor of financial institutions since 2005 and an IFRS auditor since 2017.
