Establishing data connections with the tax authority’s systems
Creating a proper connection between existing invoicing software and the NAV Online Invoice system in a way fully compliant with real-time invoice reporting (RTIR) requirements, can be a challenging task. Many ERP systems are not equipped to access the digital services provided by NAV. While the immediate and automatic reporting of all invoices issued is a legal requirement, the use of other services of the Hungarian tax authority is motivated by the desire for automation. The creation and ongoing management of data links may require, in addition to technological knowledge, also external software modules.
With the use of external modules, it is possible to avoid having to make significant changes to the existing ERP system, thereby reducing the risk, the costs and the time needed for developments ensuring local compliance.
