Bernadett Magyar

Bernadett joined Grant Thornton’s ESG&RC service line in spring 2026 and has been Head of Management Systems and Certifications since September. She has more than 20 years of consulting and lead auditing experience in the establishment, development and auditing of management systems based on ISO standards. Throughout her career, she has gained experience as a consultant, a lead auditor at a certification body and a corporate executive, giving her a thorough understanding of how organisations operate from several perspectives.

She has extensive experience in delivering auditor training, training on standards and professional workshops, placing particular emphasis on sharing practical knowledge and actively involving participants.

Her areas of expertise include the establishment and integration of management systems based on international standards, operational risk management, process improvement and compliance. She holds lead auditor qualifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Central to her professional approach is the belief that management systems should not merely fulfil certification requirements, but should create measurable business value through more efficient, transparent and secure corporate operations.

Her expertise also extends to ESG and sustainability. As an accredited ESG consultant, she participates in the development of ESG strategies, compliance systems and sustainability reporting processes, and also certifies ESG reports. She pays particular attention to harnessing the synergies between ISO-based management systems and ESG reporting, and to integrating sustainability requirements into corporate processes.

Her qualifications include an ESG-focused corporate consulting qualification from Gábor Dénes University and a sustainability management qualification from Budapest Metropolitan University.
