Provision of independent assurance and certification services for ESG and sustainability reports and disclosures.
Certification of ESG reports
Our ESG certification service provides independent professional assurance of your company’s sustainability performance and supports the credibility of ESG communication towards investors, financiers and business partners.
What does our ESG certification service include?
During the certification, we assess the
- ESG report content,
- the soundness of the materiality assessment,
- the data quality of ESG questionnaires, and
- the operation of the ESG risk management system.
We also examine the source of the data, the related control processes and the traceability of information.
The service provides a transparent picture of the reliability of ESG data and helps reduce the risk of inadequately substantiated claims. It creates a stable basis for financing, investor and partner discussions, while supporting compliance with legal and standard-based requirements.
Auditing sustainability reports (CSRD, XXX, YYY):
The purpose of auditing sustainability reports is to ensure reliable, transparent and comparable ESG reporting. The rapidly evolving regulatory environment (e.g. CSRD, ISSB) results in increasingly complex reporting obligations, the fulfilment of which often requires external expert support.
We typically perform assurance on sustainability reports with limited assurance (e.g. ISAE 3000), in line with international professional recommendations.
As part of our service, we:
- audit sustainability reports and ESG data,
- ensure compliance with the relevant standards (e.g. CSRD, ESRS),
- support the development of the organisation’s audit readiness,
- cooperate with statutory auditors in the case of consolidated reports.
Independent audit increases the credibility of reports and reduces the risk of greenwashing.
Assurance engagement under AA1000AS v3
AA1000AS v3 is an internationally recognised assurance standard that examines the reliability of sustainability data and reports, as well as the transparency of the organisation’s ESG operations.
As part of our service, we:
assess the organisation’s compliance with the AA1000 principles (inclusivity, materiality, responsiveness, impact),
- examine the reliability and quality of the disclosed ESG data,
- perform assurance at different assurance levels (moderate or high),
- make recommendations for the further development of sustainability operations and reporting.
The AA1000AS engagement increases the credibility of sustainability reports, strengthens stakeholder trust and supports well-founded decision-making.
Audit of carbon reports
The measurement of carbon footprints and the reporting of emissions data are playing an increasingly important role in corporate operations due to regulatory expectations and partner requirements. The audit of carbon reports ensures that the methodology applied and the results comply with international practices (e.g. GHG Protocol) and provide a credible picture of the company’s emissions.
As part of our service, we:
- audit the methodology and results of carbon calculations,
- verify the reliability and completeness of the data,
- ensure compliance with the relevant standards (e.g. GHG Protocol),
- support the increase of the credibility of climate reports.
The service contributes to the reliability of reports, the strengthening of reputation and the credibility of climate strategies.
