Peter joined the business valuation and transfer pricing team of Grant Thornton Valuation (formerly American Appraisal Hungary) in 2006, and he has been the director of that business line since 2019.

During the first 3 years of his professional career, Péter continued his doctoral studies at the Doctoral School of Business and Management at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), where he also undertook teaching and project management tasks.

During his years at Grant Thornton, he has gained extensive experience in business valuations, intangible asset and financial valuations, purchase price allocation assignments, as well as business planning and transfer pricing consultancy. Peter was posted to the German office of American Appraisal for four months, and was also involved in several projects in the firm’s Dutch office.

He graduated as an economic analyst from the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at BME. At the same time, in 2006, he also obtained a qualification as an interpreter and translator in French. Subsequently, in 2009, he obtained an MBA in Finance from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France). In 2014, he defended his doctoral dissertation and obtained a PhD degree in corporate finance at the Technical University of Budapest (BME).
