EFRAG (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group): The Designer of EU Sustainability Standards

EFRAG (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group) is the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group, operating with the support of the European Commission. This organization was created to provide technical advice in the development of EU sustainability reporting standards and to support EU regulations in the areas of financial reporting and sustainability reporting.

How EFRAG Works

EFRAG’s task is to work closely with the EU and other international organizations developing sustainability standards, such as the ISSB. The standards developed by EFRAG aim to align sustainability reporting requirements with the European Union’s CSRD regulation, ensuring accurate and reliable data for investors and other stakeholders.
