Zoltán joined Grant Thornton’s transfer pricing team as a transfer pricing expert in 2023. He works on transfer pricing documentation and transfer pricing planning projects for Hungarian and multinational companies. As part of his work, he participates in tax authority proceedings and maintains close professional relationships with transfer pricing specialists at Grant Thornton member firms abroad. In addition to his native Hungarian, he works in English and German.
Before joining Grant Thornton, Zoltán gained nearly 20 years of professional experience at the Hungarian National Tax and Customs Administration. During this time, he developed extensive expertise in audits covering the principal taxes applicable to businesses. He spent 13 years as a head of department at the tax authority, where his key responsibilities included the investigation of cross-border business transactions.
Zoltán obtained his law degree from the University of Szeged in 2004 and passed the Hungarian bar examination in 2010. He qualified as a tax advisor in 2007.
